Ive never even been and they piss me off so much. The stories ive heard in the past about riots help prove my point.

I know bottling at festivals occurs every year, but lethal bizzle isnt that bad! Personally i'm not a fan but i can see his appeal to his audience.
So, why bottle the hell out of him, cos he's not Metal or "rock"?? I find it a bit pathetic really.
Most download fans are scared of change.
don't most of them
still think its 2001?
pretty much
Every time Download put controversial bands on (Lethal Bizzle, My Chemical Romance, Lostprophets) the fans have a fit because it's not 'proper metal!!1!1 metalicaaaa rule lolz!'
It's lprobably 'cuz he's black
*probably
twunt.
nah
they're far better, friendlier and more enthusiastic than most festival crowds, def. better than reading/leeds, etc.
they bottled him cos he's shit. when i saw saul williams support nine inch nails the crowd loved it.
'As soon as the backing tape started, a torrent of bottles – and tubs of Muller Rice which were being given away free onsite – were thrown in the rapper's direction.'
nine inch nails fans will wear white
before they do anything to anger ol rezhead
that isnt a valid reason to bottle someone
just go and see someone else for fucks sake
of course not
but assuming the reason is that they're thicko metalheads who couldnt possibly ever accept someone black or someone who raps is ridiculous
yeah
but im guessing some of them might be of that persuasion. if not they are just tossers.
this ^^
exactly
Nothing says metal more than Muller Rice
:D
To bring race into this is fucking stupid
They're just dumb kids who don't think he's metal enough.
The fact Download is by no means a 'metal' fest anymore just highlights their naivety.
actually i was there
and there where some people making ape noises and some people threw some soft toy monkeys on stage. pretty fucking disgusting
Good Lad
at least he stayed on for the duration of the set, but honestly if I was Bizzle I'd be having words with my tour manager/management.
just watched a video with him being interviewed
good on him. i dont particularly like him but when ive seen him in the past he has put on a good show, whether or not he is just a token grime artist
yeah that's the thing with Bizzle
He can try an be as serious as he likes but it's unconvincing. It's the moniker alone..
im sure bizzle was expecting for something to happen
download is a metal festival, and as he's not a metal act, wankers turn up purely to throw things and be stupid, because they, themselves are so 'metal' they're intitled to throw free desert and what not.
it's funny how they all suddenly stopped when a vodka bottle was pulled out though...
obviously bizzles bottle was too 'metal' for them.
i just got back from download today
and bizzle was one of the highlights. he was obviously booked for that awful gallows song, and he said himself that he wants a challenge. for every crowd member at download who threw a bottle there was another one really getting into it.
he handeled the crowd brilliantly and appeared to actually find being bottled funny.
i don't think the crowd at download where that bad, i have seen far worse things happen at leeds festival, and theres not much of a 'lad culture' thing going on.
As much as I hate grime and don't like the music of Lethal Bizzle
From that interview I actually like him personally and respect him for having the balls to play there and to actually stay on. He also actually seems like a decent person and not completely up his own arse.
I'm still upset
about Daphne & Celeste binging bottled at Reading.
I wonder if it compares to 50 Cent at reading?

I just felt sorry for him :(
Bottling is and always will be stupid
errrrm
anyone else a tad unsettled by "the monkey escaped from the zoo" comment?
i
got a phonecall from my friend who´s gone there this weekend and said its absolutely awful. he enjoyed last year loads but he says the crowd are assholes for nearly every band he´s seen.
