Joanna Newsom to play Somerset House

Lady with the harp and tales involving bears Joanna Newsom, has just announced a very special show in London.
It's been a while since Miss Newsom graced the Royal Albert Hall but the DiS album of the yearer (with her Ys album) has announced that she'll be playing at Somerset House on Sunday July 20th.We're a bit excited about the prospect of this show in the Inland Revenue courtyard and will have a special competition to win tickets to the show in the next few days. In the meantime you can try your best to get tickets when they go onsale at 10am tomorrow (Thursday), they cost £25 plus booking fee from places like Ticketmaster, See Tickets, etc...

was announced a week or more ago, but good to see about tickets. Am tempted, but I think I would prefer a sit-down gig to see her again.

counters the disappointing lot that is the Somerset House summer line-up of gigs just before this one. Saw her at Royal Albert Hall last year and she was great.

The RAH gig, like the Barbican show earlier that year
was unbelievably sickeningly phenomenally brilliant. Didn't hurt to have Roy Harper doing a DLB of Stormcock as the support. Also didn't hurt to have third-row seats.
Probably won't bother with this one though.

Ticketmaster is slightly cheaper than Seetickets, but - £2.50 to email me tickets I print out myself? The same price as getting them posted? Fuck's sake.

Ticketmaster, Seetickets, Lunatickets???
www.lunatickets.co.uk (for postage and booking fee) seem to be cheaper than anyone however they don't seem to sell nationwide tickets? I think they just sell tickets for gigs in leeds? Anyone? Anyone?
I got some MBV tickets from See and they were delivered by some bloke in a car that looked like me dad - I wasn't full of confidence!
