In a strange twist, my editor has given me the go-ahead to do quite alot more local music than is currently in our local paper.
So basically I need it.
I should probably mention this is for the Solihull News but Birmingham bands are all good (I don't believe there are any Solihull bands), and maybe if you're really desperate and aren't from Birmingham but are playing here I might be able to do something.
I know it's a local paper so is pretty crap and not really the first place you'd look for new music, but hey, it's coverage. Also it has a distribution of 95,000 which is a nice enough number.
Um so yeah let me know...

'tanx' 'yr' etc are abbreviations
'alot' is just plain WRONG. My Yr11s did their English Language paper today, so I'm a bit touchy about the whole spelling thing.
and
I have firefox which alerts to my spelling errors... I just think 'a lot' looks better 'alot'.
I blame my teachers...
