Biffy singles comp: tracklisting and release date announced

Beggars Banquet, the former record label of rock triumverate, Biffy Clyro, have announced a tracklisting and release date for the band's Singles 2001-2005’ compilation.
In shops on July 7, The CD, which comes with approved artwork and a handpicked listing and ordering by the band, according to Beggars, runs as follows:

'Only One Word Comes To Mind' (single version)
We even chose an old picture for this article especially. Oh, and you can also purchase the comp as a download, but that'd be just odd, surely?

They haven't really approved it though
Apart from agreeing to artwork and asking Beggars not to attempt to make a 'new' album (Hence the chronological track list?) They don't seem particularly happy about the release. Their manager Neil wrote about it in his blog a while back.

but when you compare it to them songs its absolutely shit

The single version
of Only One Word is the same as the one used for the video right? Because that was just awful compared to the album one.
Good idea for the Puzzle brigade
No incentive for old fans to buy this though...a b-sides cd as a 2nd disc would've been a good idea.

They could do a Myvitriol - as they released between the lines with all the rarities and b-sides.
No Biffy didn't really approve of it.

yeah its pretty crap (it makes them all look like Johnny from 'Naked' by Mike Leigh...
but it HAS to be better than the 14-year old wank fantasy that was The Vertigo Of Bliss?

for the Radio One listeners that think Puzzle is their debut... B-sides comp would be nice though - I still want a half-decent version of 'Take Me Out'

would get "...and with the scissorkick is triumphant" out there as well, possible one of their best songs.
Vertigo of Bliss
is their only wholly good album though, right?
