Just seen this on true-to-you.net
"Morrissey's new studio album 'Years of Refusal' is now complete, and is set for a September release by Polydor UK (Universal). It has yet to be decided which Universal label will release the album in the US.
'Years of Refusal' has 12 tracks and is produced by Jerry Finn.
Prior to this, Sony-BMG will issue a remastered version of 'Southpaw Grammar' in July. This album, first released in 1995, will include three previously unreleased tracks, and new artwork.
In addition to the Cork Festival on June 26th, Morrissey will play a concert at Kilmainham Hospital in Dublin on June 28th."
All of this news makes me happier than 400 happy bastards.

ho is morisy?
Neil Morrissey Album Announced
Good album title
as ever. If this is as good as the last one I'll be satisfied.
The hospital contains the words 'kill' and 'maim'. Excellent work.
Please
let this one be good.
Hope
it's better than his last one.
I like 'Ringleader...' myself...
...it's no Vauxhall but I think there are some great tracks on there. 'Dear God, Please Help Me' and 'Life Is A Pigsty' are class.
Yeah,
but lyrically it was dull by his standards and there were too many Moz-by-numbers songs like 'In The Future etc'
^ Agreed
And this new one is produced by the same bloke who did the fucking awful You Are The Quarry with his irritating Blink 182 snare drum sound.
I accept I'm in a minority
as I thought there was only one weak track (On The Streets I Ran) on the record so there we go.
I know Jerry Finn's production is a bit shiny but the job he did on 'All You Need Is Me' and 'Irish Blood...' was pretty spot on...
I like Ringleader too
Way better than You are the Quarry, although that did have two killer singles.
Bad news that it is the same producer.
The only positive things I have to say about that news...
is that the new Morrissey album can't be worse than the new Cure album ( based on the last Cure single ) and so won't be the worst album of the year...
The
next 2 Cure singles are really good. The one they just did was unremarkable, a mish-mash of Friday I'm In Love & Just Like Heaven.
unremarkable ?
as in an awful parody of what they once were ?
Well,
probably.
Don't know about anyone else but
I've still not seen a keener window cleaner.
Don't
say you'll hold it steady then you'll let it go...
Southpaw Grammer re-issue?!
For God's sake, we can do without a re-issue of that one! Get "Your Arsenal" & "Vauxhall & I" re-issued cos the CDs from the 90s sound awful
