Does anybody actually manage to eat 5 pieces of fruit and veg
3 helpings (or whatever it is) of wholegrain
4 litres of water etc etc everyday
Does anyone swear by these probiotics, pro bionic, super human friendly bacteria things?
I find it impossible to eat more than a couple of pieces of fruit a day and maybe a couple of carrots with my tea
Am I going to die young?

i manage the 5 veg generally, and the water generally too
dunno about the wholegrain - bran-based cereal's about all i can think of that i'd get it from seeing as i eat white bread
I eat about 7 servings of fruit a day
not sure how many helpings of whole-grain, but i try only to eat complex carbs rather that simple ones and i dont think i've consumed more than 1500 calories in 5 years.

but years of starving myself and generaly not being too good to my body has messed up my metabolism a treat. Whilst most people loose weight eating 1200 calories a day, i've pretty much maintained the same weight for a few months eating that or less/].
maybe you're metabolisms stabilised
or it's eating that much fruit as it's high in sugars

Don't like the texture of fruit so I drink a lot of fruit juice and smoothies so maybe about 3/4 portions aday through that.
Veg - 2/3 portions a day, very rarely greens.
Drink a lot of water and have ma wheatabix in the morning.
Hardly eat red meat.
Probably about 7/8 times a week I have fish.
I eat a lot of cheese and I will not stop cos its too good.
I expect to die young, but I am from Galsgow so our life expectancy is low anyway.

I spend fortunes on innocent smoothies and they are loaded with fruit goodness.

i eat fruit and fibre cereal cos it's ace, and love brown bread.
i definitely get the needed amount of water
and if you are counting potato as one of your 5 a day veg then yeah sure i get enough :)

My aunty smoked 100 a day from when she was 12, lived til she was about 85. My mums friends son was an absolute health addict, vegie, only ate organic, never smoked or drank, died of a stroke at 19.
