Quitting Pink With Knives: London glitch-core punks call time

London-based glitch-punk trio Cutting Pink With Knives - one of my favourite live acts, no question - are to call it quits once they've honoured existing commitments.
Says MySpace:
"We are splitting up. No drama, no hatred between us - just seemingly going in different directions musically, in terms of lifestyle and what we all want(ed) to achieve both with this band and with life in general. Me (Alex) and Ed will certainly be back in other bands."

I saw them in Hitchin. I wasn't impressed by them musically, but I was impressed by the fact their set was only 10 minutes long after they got into a fight with a local skinhead.

I was so fucked off with that situation, but the band handled it pretty well considering they had an utter fucking psycho on their hands. I said I wanted to book them again but it's now not to be :(

This is a shame
Populuxxe is possibly my number 1 album of last year, and they're great live. Only got to see them once and it doesn't look like I will get to see them before they split :(

Thus this news makes me sad.
