I whole heartidly agree.
Jelly is just disgusting. Pork pies are a bit of a lottery though. When you bite into them if you find jelly you lose.

I don't like sweet jelly either
I feel it's important to be consistant in my dislike.
Without the jelly, your pie would only last for about one hour.
Then shops would never stock them because they'd go off too quickly, and the world would cease to exist.
