Fish and chips,

but NOT with pea wet

fish, chips and mushy peas

pork pie is an adequate substitute for fish

My default setting is fish, chips and mushy peas.

With a can of diet coke and a cob. A massive buttered cob.

*bap

I actually thought he meant corn on the cob until I de-yorkshired him

Why would a chippy sell a corn on the cob?

or a pork pie, for that matter?

Mental bastards.

yeah, a steak pudding

not as in an after dinner pudding.

pfff

my hippy sells fucking egg fried rice, I don't think there's hard and fast rules anymore

'Chip cob' is one of the most lovely, homely phrases of all time.

ALL TIME.

Anyway, we can stop this regional nonsense now.

indeed we can

barm

oven bottoms

It's like I'm a first year at Uni again. sigh

I have a disgusting predilection

towards sausage or saveloy and chips despite living near a top-class chippy that does excellent fish

fish does cost the best part of a fiver

ie, all of it

sausage is only a quid. Plus it's so quick.

Two fishcakes <3 battered sausage

that's one messy love triangle

two fish cakes and a battered sausage and a bit of that pink plastic sausage

whatever it's called and an apple pie FTW!

I don't have batter

but I agree fish cakes are pretty great. Apart from the ones at primary school where on separate occasions I found half a melted plastic spatula and a clump of iron filings.

in taunton they had an offer on haddock and chips

£3.25!!! now that's a deal! (the chips were far too mushy though :( )

Deep fried pizza, chips and chippy sauce

with a can of Irn Bru.

Scotch me up.

Like brown sauce

but cheaper and more vinegary.

APPETISING.

WE'RE GOING OUT!

(/youngeryounger28s)

lipstick? cigarretes?

packet of three?

WOO!

I didn't think anyone would get the reference. CHEERS.

shit name though

sorry

I've been to two chippys in Scotland

On both occasions i got a sausage and gravy without asking for it. Tools.

Fish & Chips with Mushy Peas

sliced butterd bread and a pot of tea....

there are so many places not to far from me that have this on the menu for about £5 ace!

my fave is beef and onion pukka pie with chips

though i'm happy with most things

Were anyone else parents as weird as mine...

we had a Chippy day. Same day every week. I think it was to stop the benefiddles taking a hammering more than any health concern. Chippy Monday, fucking crap.

Always Thursday for us.

Same day as mother went and did the 'big shop'. Obviously.

friday in my village

mum did big shop, dad sat at home and ordered pizza/curry/got off arse and bought chips

my mother pretty much cooks the same meals each week

thursday is mince day though, that's a 4 week rollathon, of cottage pie, lasagne, spag bol, and chilli con carne

yeah, my mum can only cook one meal.

Corned Beef Hash. Good job it's amazing or i'd have to kick her in the chin, or maybe put her in Loot.

:'(

Someone at work today said they had the same meals on the same day every week.

It made me want to cry at their pathetic existence.

screw you james!

my mum's a great cook, it's more my dad being a lameo with what he likes!

Sorry!

Wasn't a personal dig :(

It's just I definitely couldn't live like that. Even if I'm eating junk food I have to have a varied diet...

i completely agree

when i cook for myself i cook what i wawnt to eat when i want to eat, hence getting right podgy :D

Chips. Sausage. Curry sauce.

Eat as fast as possible. DONE.

They out of gravy?

Curry and chips is a massive no-no for me.

no no no

Curry plus chips is the best. Gravy is ok, but only if they don't sell curry/only sell that watery bastard curry sauce instead of the thick, gloopy stuff.

God, I want some chips now.

Chip butty

with curry sauce and a sausage every time. Washed down with Tea or Dandelion and Burdock.

I think I'm gonna have to have chips for tea tonight now

what with an UNPRECEDENTED ALL ENGLISH CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FINAL to look forward to.

In hindsight i should've had an English day.

Chippy Tea, few brews, some real ale, maybe stand in a queue somewhere moaning about something unimportant...

I had lamb pie wth chips and peas for lunch

sadly, i also had muesli this morning, a banana at break and a green tea.

Still we conquered those jonny foreigners what, so it's really all english anyway

fish and chips

with a couple of pickled onions on the side.

Fish, Chips, Mushy Peas

Tea / Dandelion & Burdock

Pie, chips, mushy peas & gravy.

They serve it in our canteen on Thursdays.
