Its reassuring to know school girls still fancy me. For a guy who hasn't been running for 6 weeks you're in good condition. So same again on thrusday? We can go to the river in West Didsbury, now that you know that there's one there!
I currently have TWO plumbers in my bathroom, fixing the sealant on my shower (not a euphemism, yet). I now have to go to Boomkat and collect cardboxes so I can move house. Quite a day.
I hope it isn't the Chuckle Brothers

I'm assuming the tank's still there - you know those old people flats next door to the Railway, opposite the Metropolitan? Well, if you go down the road to the right of those (Pandora Street) you end up in a cul-de-sac, and if you go right at the end there's a little street, with an old tank parked there. I've tried to see if it's on Google maps but there's a tree in the way!

I'll check it out sometime this week.
The river: if you go down the high street past the Metropolitan, past the health centre to the bottom of that road, then turn right. Then go along 100 yards or so, turn left off the main road and follow it down you'll reach the river. You can follow it along to Chrolton Water Park, which is nice, or the other way to Stockport, which is less nice but still needs to be acknowledged.
Also, the river is the Mersey, I think.
Oh yeah!
I just checked that on Google maps again, I've driven past that river loads of times at various points but never realised it ran so near to Didsbury, or that it ended up in Chorlton (a lovely place, except for all the loose animals everywhere).
