i do have an internet addiction, but thus far it hasn't really had any major negative impact on my life. it's not like i choose the internet over real life socialising and stuff, it's just that the vast majority of my spare time alone at home is spent online. actually, the only problem i have with this is the fact that i don't read anywhere near as much as i used to.

because my parents always nag about it and i have a fear of losing the internet.

it starts off from a biased point of view, that using the internet is A Bad Thing. it makes no real concessions for actually getting good things out of using it! i've found loads of amazing friends (that i see in real life and with whom i get DRUNK!!11 and PARTY!!! and EVERYTHING), loads of amazing music and i'm now doing my dream job part-time, all because of the deadly internets.

and i would say that dis makes up a large part of it. i would expect that to go down too when i finish work in August and won't be one here nearly as often.
