so yeah should I pick these up in rough trade after work? Can't really afford them but £10 for some shiny no age vinyl and £6.99 for cut copy seems to good an offer to pass up or will I regret it in a weeks time?

no age - yes
cut copy - nah
^
WHAT!?!?!
The new Cut Copy album is brilliant. Dude needs to get both of them.
Both worth buying
No Age on vinyl is a must, to be honest, and Cut Copy's album will be like their first, the sort of album you find yourself coming back to in 6 months/a year's time.
what do no age sound like?
I got their album today off the back of pitchfork and what everyones saying. haven't heard them before though.
art-punk
in the best way possible.
no age
remind me of Pavement, really noisy guitars and slacker-like vocals. Nouns not a bad album but am yet to really understand why people love it so much. So yeah if you're a Pavement fan, i imagine you'll love it.
The Cut Copy record is an album made for hot sunny days, quite cool psychadelic electro pop. I would probably say get this instead of the No Age album. I just prefer it. And it is an album with depth as wellm something you will come back to again and again.
Nouns is*
I can't stop playing No Age
I think they are brilliant. Short and to the point noisey fuzzed out arty punk music. Full of layers of sound and a catchy pop heart in there some place to. One of the best albums so far this year.
People keep goin on about Cut Copy I might have to investigate. I think I have some remixes they have done on record and heard their fabric mix but they haven't blown me away with any of that.
The Cut Copy album is only £6.99 in Rough Trade?
How comes?
not sure,
1 week only though so should probs make the most of it methinks.
Yep
It's pretty solid, and well worth £6.99
Go
Buy both of them and have a sonic triangle. Such brilliant bands
buy both of them
i'd totally forgotten about cut copy, might have to dig the album out tonight and have a listen :)
BOTH! For sure.
Mega-wicked-ace albums...
I decided to have a listen to cut copy and its pretty lame
It isn't anywhere near as good as M83 or Sebastien Tellier and thats just choosing from this years albums. It has a nice summery sound and all that but a tune hasn't stuck out at me yet. maybe Im just being grumpy and it's this years Milo...
