That Santogold advert above

is fucking annoying! The same song over and over every time I go from thread to thread. Granted I could mute my computer but then I can't listen to the music that I actually want to listen to and isn't being forced down my throat. And I thought the 'become a teacher' adverts were annoying!

yeah

i dont really mind big flashy things, and i can even avoid the drop down ones, but when the same song comes on every time i change page it's a step far.

This

yep its well annoying

If it was always muted and you could choose to hear it that would be fine. Them DiS peeps gota eat mind.

i fucking hate flash ads in all their forms

if you use firefox or opera, get flashblock, it only starts flash stuff if you actually press a "play" button. it's improved my browsing experience immeasurably - it used to be that if i had a few flash-ad-containing pages open at once (like, ooh i dunno, a few forum threads) my computer would slow to a fucking crawl.

in fact, i just tried playing two of these santogold ads at the same time (with sound off, even) and it's having a very noticeable effect already.

i want to add my annoyance

if it says roll over to play, it shouldn't play automatically

I must agree

What idiot thought that would be a good idea. I'm really starting to dislike Santogold as well, where as before I had no real opinion on the matter.

yeah

I was going to check out her show at the Great Escape this weekend but my interest and tolerance to her is falling rapidly with every new page.

At least make the add

beatmatch to what I'm listening to its giving me flash backs to when I began DJing and I sounded like a train wreck.

Die!

Bitch!

Wow

Flashblock does everything I wanted ABP to do in 65kb. Sweet!

More annoying is the Radio 1 Big weekend one

which I manage to start every time it's on a page no matter how hard I try and avoid it.

It's gone!

Thank fuck for that.

no....

...it hasn't :(
