I bought it today, for no other reason that it has potential Ebay profitability. Looking over it, however, the 7" and CD appear to be stitched into the case, meaning you can't open it without butchering it. LAME. I don't want to open it, but how can i be sure there's not a T'Pau 7" in there if i don't?

The people that like them

wont have ebay accounts to spend lots of money collecting their back catalogue.

How is that any worse than touting?

Apart from the fact that it was a stupid thing to do, because there isn't any demand for not-going-anywhere indie bands' singles.

how wrong, on both counts.

Firstly, it's something i'll enjoy in the meantime (providing i can get into it), it's not a bad single, then if i don't like it then what's wrong with being able to sell it so i can buy more records, absolutely nothing. Secondly, it's wrong to say they're not in demand, i keep an eye on this kind of stuff on Ebay and have watched their other singles go for £10+.

Yeah..

.. The Next Untouchable vinyl fetches silly money on eBay.

I asked in Rough Trade if they had the next Untouchable sometime last year

and I was laughed at!
Last summer they were meant to be the band that were going to take over the world. Now what,eh?
