On Saturday word was Zidane was gonna be unveiled as manager/coach
with Figo joining as a big-name signing. All seems to have gone quiet noew though...

I think Gigi is a top boss, who will really take us places. A full season with an actual defence is the least his efforts this year have deserved

You've improved massively over the second half of the season and, especially if QPR spend wisely over the close season, I'd tip QPR to be right up there next year.

Surely the club's badge is just, like, the club's badge. You can't change it. I don't go round changing the colours of the Union Jack or sticking a Latin motto under the flag of St George.

It happens more often than you'd think
There was that paring down of the Arsenal logo a few years ago from that mighty shield thing, and Coventry dumped their elephants at some stage. We've only had our fox-doing-impression-of-him-out-of-Flowered Up badge since 1994, and the one before that came in in 1983.

As LLB pointed out above it's basically our old badge from way way back, even before I was born. Why? We know not.
They tried to change Coventry's
not too long ago but the backlash from the fans made them go back to the trusty elephant.
It's only so they can sell a load of new merch! Doth protest not enough!
That was the reason
why the directors tried for a short time to change Leicester City back to Leicester Fosse five years ago. It was at that point we started thinking maybe the club had its priorities all wrong.
