Heard it for the first time today, I think it's an excellent album better than 1983 in my opinion.

if you like this

listen to benji b's latest show on 1xtra listen again, nearly the entire show is flying lotus tunes. should be online for another couple of days. excellent.

I will

give it a listen. Iam going to see him supporting RZA tomorrow in manchester hope he is as good live i think Rustie is playing that as well.

Shit, he's in the UK?

Great album. He left a shitty message on my friends blog about linking to it.

Yeah but you have missed

most of the tour i think Manchester is the last date.

Why the fuck doesnt anywhere

have details on it?! Goddamn. I hadnt even heard a thing about it.

I am eagerly anticipating

seeing him with B.O.B.B.Y. and Rustie tomorrow. Oh yeah, did I tell you he's doing a talk beforehand?

Yeah i saw that

its starts at 7:30, i will look forward to some Wu-related anecdotes and the bad mouthing of Ghostface.

yeahh im off to that too!

I think the RZA talk is an extra 14 quid isn't it?

My friend told me it was free

to people who've got a ticket? I hope so, I'm not paying an additonal £14 for a talk!

yeah im going to ring futuresonic and ask them

wtf is going down, the festival is huge!

that's an incredible line-up

when are the rustie and hudson mohawke album's out?

fuck knows

never even heard Rustie!

Rustie just released a new

12" called Cafe De Phresh which is pretty rad.

Flying Lotus as great live. Really energetic, dancing to his own beats and rapping along to the samples.

I really like Los Angeles it has a nice synthy warp records feel to it.

so what is this crazy new beat called?

that fly-lo, hud-mo and rustie make?
psy-hop anyone?
as in psychedelic, not to be confused with psy-ops, the secret service policy, or sigh-hop, melancholic hip-hop like roots manuva dreamy days.

Wonky acording to Pitchfork

what ever that means. I quite like the sound of wonky beats. I'm really looking forward to this album.

i want it now!

PM me a link plz someone. :)

I spoke to my mate who was at Futuresonc today, apparently none of the box office people were even aware that the RZA talk was going down. I think it's free though.

noice

I just thought it was Electro Hop, 'Wonky' sounds daft, I know the beats sound staggered but FFS... 'WONKY'? 2/10

hehe made me laugh

how about 'Wonk-Step' or 'Dub-Wonk'

that was

quite insightful, still not with the 'wonky' though

I dunno I find it quite funny

I cant wait to start hearing it talked about like its a sensible genre name hehe

Wonky is a shit name.

Martin Clark is way off with that.

Aquacrunk is where its at.
