Police are investigating the claims of three men who say they’ve recently been assaulted by tabloid darling and ultimate heroine Amy Winehouse.

A 38-year-old man alleges that he was attacked by the warbler on Chalk Farm Road in Camden early yesterday morning, though the report on Sky News doesn’t explain why.

One in the Sun does though, alleging that the 24-year-old “HEADBUTTED a Good Samaritan who hailed her a cab outside a bar” and “PUNCHED… Moroccan musician Mustapha el Mounmi after he refused to give way to her at the pool table”, leaving him with a bruised eye and swollen lip. There’s a picture of a weary looking Mustapha to prove it, but to be honest what 'damage' there is could just be make-up and, after all, Tabloids do lie.

The result of all the bother is that Winehouse may join husband Blake Fielder-Civil in jail if police find enough evidence to prosecute her. The allegations come in the same week that the singer was nominated for three Ivor Novello awards.
