Haha!
I remember watching Downset at Reading in about 1996.
I've still got a copy of Do We Speak a Dead Language? knocking about somewhere.
There were so many generic rapcore bands about in the mid 90s, remember Clawfinger and Senser?
Actually Senser predate RATM.
Anger....
...hostility towards the opposition.
It's funny, I got my old copy of their first album out just last week for a nostalgia trip. Pretty dated but still pretty decent.
I remember Clawfinger!
Some of my friends saw them supporting Rammstein a few years ago. Amazingly, I've not heard of Senser.

The British RATM, but, they formed before RATM did.....this footage from Glastonbury 1994 is pretty decent, it was my first festival!
Is it me, or does the
singer look really tiny? The squealing guitar is getting right on my nerves.
He was one of those angry small people!
This may be a better example....

They soundtracked seemingly every issue of 411 Skateboarding Video Magazine between 1994 and 1997!

A pub I used to go to had 'Pure Trauma' on the Jukebox. Angry, angry young men. In vests.

I heart this thread
I've got 'Downset' on tape somewhere.
Also Senser - 'Stacked Up' is an awesome album and they were great live. My first proper pit was Senser at Phoenix '93.
i love downset
soooo good live. i'm happy someone mentioned them here. (=
& yes, ratm wish they were downset; oddly, last time i saw downset, they covered a song from ratm's singer's first band. it was amazing.

Oh yes!
I saw Downset in a tiny room at the Uni in Sheffield in '94....awesome gig........tiny place, most of the crowd were on the stage at points, awesome pit.....takes me back to my stage diving days.
I think Clawfinger actually supported on that date as well.
