There was a guy with a laptop doing weird mash-ups before the fall who was like something out of Nathan Barley but the fall came on soon after his laptop almost got drenched by beer. Anyone at this gig? was my first fall gig and was memorable.

are one of those bands that passed me by and I never did pay much attention to bar the odd track no matter how much my mates tried to get me to like them. not sure why.

I thought I was the only one ... recently download the greatest hits (from the Brix poppy period) and although the odd one is OK I just don't get it. Emperor's New Clothes if you ask me. The only bright side to Peel's demise is that you never hear the miserable bugger on the radio any more.

a music taste as undemanding "anything with a good beat that isn't I am Kloot.", i can understand you not getting into it, but give it another go sometime. Sit in a squalid flat somewhere drinking and eating reduced food with a general selection turned up very loud. You will appreciate. There is more truth to be found in these songs about what life is like in this country nowadays than most places else, however indecipherable it is. Plus, there is groove.
