...are a criminally under-rated band - anyone else agree? The Alchemy Index, Vheissu and The Artist in the Ambulance are stunningly diverse but no-one seems to like or own them - any love for them on DiS?

The Illusion of Safety

is a great album. Never been keen on the rest. They lost those awesome metal riffs.

So Strange I Remember You might just have the most beautiful guitar intro ever.

I agree

I admit I have only briefly listened to The Alchemy Index but Vheissu and The Artist in the Ambulance are both great albums. TAitA and its title track is one of those albums where you don't just remember the songs but you remember the time in your life when they were the soundtrack. Is that what you call timeless?

Illusion of Safety is pretty good too

especially for the riffs. To awake and avenge the dead was such a good choice for a first cover!

Big love.

Second part of the Alchemy Index arrives soon and if the songs already online are anything to go by then it'll be just as impressive as the first half. A continually evolving, consistently interesting and entertaining band.

I only have

The Illusion Of Safety and Artist In The Ambulance. I have listened to neither for well over a year

brilliant band

alchemy index volume 1and2 are amazing as is vheissu.lots of love here :)

can't wait for Alchemy Index II

bring it on! Do I brave HMV or zaiavvizaiavi.co.whocares or get it online? hmmm...

i've got the artist in the ambulance

great album. never really dug any deeper.

^

compliments on the username

Thrice are awesome

Much love for all their stuff from IoS onwards...wasn't going travelling a hundred miles to see them co-headline with Coheed, though.

Never really liked anything after

The Artist in the Ambulance.

Used to really like Illusion of Safety and Identity Crisis, and The Artist in the Ambulance wasn't bad either.
Shame they seem to have got a bit lost in trying to find a new sound, and just ended up making a host of average to crap albums!

cant wait

for iii and iv contender for album of year for sure
