Boris - Smile

Trust me. It also covers about a thousand different genres, so it'll feel like you've actually bought ten different albums.

great record

.

Albums I have recently bought:

Vampire weekend- Really enjoying it.
The Whip - Good but not great.
Ghostland observatory - Really good!

Bad Dudes - S/T

Really can't recommend this band enough.

If the following lyric ...

"I drank away all my money
I spent the night on the street
Think I just lost my dear honey
Who's gonna take care of me?"

grabs you at all then buy "First You Live" by Dusty Rhodes and the River Band

A bit country rock, a bit proggy. Like if The Band's children all formed a band together. Awesome live and awesome record.

the new Gregor Samsa is out this month.

Your choice is made !

Angus & Julia Stone - A Book Like This

Is really kind of a beautiful record. Well I thought so anyway.

The reissue

of The Glow Pt.2 by the Microphones.

Meanderthal

by Torche, out today!

the only album ive ever bought

and subsequently loved for no other reason than it was hyped a lot on here is Alopecia by Why?. so maybe get that, and you'll have the same dis luck that i did.

I severely recommend

ZEIT by Tangerine Dream

I severely want to know

What does Tangerine Dream sound like these days? Is Zeit new?

Times New Viking

Rip It Off

Aztec Camera

High Land, Hard Rain.

Hey, why not?

Aztec Camera

I remember not liking them in about 1985

Anyone who asks me what music to buy is gonna here this:

"Wierdo Rippers" by No Age

get it if you haven't cos the new one "Nouns" comes out soon.

also, "Distortion" by The Magnetic Fields is about the only 2008 release I like so far.

or, "Mellow Gold" by Beck (I just threw that one out there kinda haphazzard).

M.I.A.

im listening my way through now, its amazing, been meaning to get it for ages.

elbow - the seldom seen kid

its amazingly good and get better with each listen.

either:

the Elle Milano album, out next monday.
or the new Frightened Rabbit album, out the same day.
both will be immense. i promise.

The Black Keys

Attack & Release

cant believe no-one has mentioned....

PORTISHEAD! out on the 28th.

otherwise go for Elbow or Gregor Samsa
