and i love it.what would be the next album to buy?i know 10,000 days gets slated on here a bit but im not sure whether to go forwards then backwards or backwards then forwards.i should probably have done it chronologically but i just bought lateralus instead.ideas?!

Technically and emotionally far superior then AEnima, which does have some brilliant songs on it none the less

I disagree!
AEnima is a far more complex album than 10,000 days.
The only thing it has going for it is awesome artwork.
And the title track
And Rosetta Stoned
And Right In Two
10,000 days would be much better
if they'd left Vicarious off it. Apart from that song, it's an incredible album. Wings For Marie is definitely a high point in their career and with repeated listens it gets better and better.
Yeah, aenima probably
10,000 days was disappointing because it was like a step backward. The title track(s) go on and on dragging out the same 2 ideas for ages.
I'm only really huge on Lateralus, but Aenima and Undertow are both worth checking out.

but Lateralus is better-sounding.
Both are eye-bleedingly good.

is literally my favorite heavy album ever.

It is a Live CD (tool live is their true purpos) and a DVD of all Adam Jones' vids- he is a film student with money to burn.
