Continuing the fun - here's the tracklisting for CD2 of Radiohead: The Best Of:
To our own eyes, we think that the best on this disc is as good as the best on CD1. But at the same time, there's a few things we could live without.
But, anyway, we've got all the albums, so who minds?
CD2
'Airbag'
'I Might Be Wrong'
'Go To Sleep'
'Let Down'
'Planet Telex'
'Exit Music (For A Film)'
'The National Anthem'
'Knives Out'
'Talk Show Host'
'You'
'Anyone Can Play Guitar'
'How To Disappear Completely'
'True Love Waits'
Don't forget, this is a vitally important competition between the tracklists for both CD 1 - which you can find here - and CD 2. Vote or comment; comment to vote. Spurious? About as much as the notion of a best of at this point in time is, anyway.
Compare and contrast our choices with the eventual line-up, if that is your wont, by taking a look at our DiScussion piece on the Best Of from February; or, if you're bored of noncing around with conjecture, find an interview with Radiohead drummer Phil Selway here.

Has Thom Yorke
took over from Mick Hucknall in the last few months?
You'd think
but the truth is that the next few months, there will be a LOT of radiohead news - because they're important (as it were) and keep doing things, and the record company exes (EMI) keep choosing to profit from them.
Wait till the summer with all the gigs...
x
This one has 'Talk Show Host'
so is automatically better
It's tough...
but I couldn't have a radiohead compilation without Let Down on it..
.x
the other list
i.e. disc 1 is better for me. It has most of my favourites on it.
This is the bonus disc
really, innit?
This wins as it has their 2nd and 3rd best songs
'I might be wrong' and 'National Anthem'. However both compilations lose as they don't have 'Climbing Up the Walls', their best song.
.
which version of True Love Waits is this then? There isn't a studio version, is there?
YOU?
ulitmate fail.
You is a great song.
srsly.
Talk Show Host and I Might Be Wrong
Easily best of the 2.
EMI r a bunch of c*nts
I hope they die screaming.
Radiohead have always maintained that their albums should be listened to as a whole, hence they never did a deal with iTunes 'cos tracks could be sold individually. I struggle to see how a best of is going to offer existing fans any thing worth shelling out for. In the context of each album these songs are classics. Regardless I'm going to playlist the two discs and see which is better......and whether I'd want to get my radiohead fillup from a best of rather than the albums
There's only one way to find out...
FIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGHT!
This is some kind of sick joke
Who the fuck puts How To Disappear Completely after Anyone Can Play Guitar???? Argh i wanna slap those EMI bastards with a large salmon.
Eh?
ACPG finishes with a quiet fade out and HTDC starts from a quiet fade in.
This one is better
the first is a bit predictable/mainly singles
There are indispensable songs on both
but if I had to choose one disc over t'other, I'd go with this one because of Let Down, Airbag and True Love Waits. In fact, if it was a studio version of True Love Waits, I'd actually buy the thing.
ANYONE...
CAN PLAY GUITAR!!!!! on a best of!!!! surely this is ludicrous, obviously this is a typical radiohead fan indignation response and i dont like being cliched but fuck me!!! silly silly silly
well yeah
i mean it looks like a pretty bad comp. that this might be expected and that no-one really cares anyway doesn't mean they should get away with some horrible 'the only Radiohead product you ever have to buy', even reducing The Bends and OKC to mop-ups for someone introduced to the band with this. it's pitched awkwardly somewhere between a neat singles collection and a more ambitious, balanced summation. failure by committee for which they should be spanked.
That's complete toss
All these pretentious wankers getting on their high horses. Yes it is a corporate sellout but as anyone knows that is the world we live in. Radiohead have made some of the best guitar music ever produced and though the majority of people who are fans will own all their albums, you really can't argue with the quality of the songs here.
And if this means more people get to share in the joy of listening then what is so bad about that?
The attitudes expressed here are exactly why people don't find so many great bands accessible and why they instead listen to the likes of Snow Patrol and Keane (massively inferior and mediocre, but sans bullshit).
Rant over.
