A fucking shambles last year but hopefully they'll have more than 3 people working the bar this year.

Anyone going?

I know that there're a lot of haters

but i cannot WAIT.

I'm going

I actually thought it was good last year (past 5pm)
But probably the lack of alchohol left everyone quite uptight
+I preferred the underage lineup last year as it was more 'cute'
I will see king creosote and of montreal from there, and mechanical bride probably

i'll be going!

my theory is that they can't possibly fuck it up THAT much a second time in a row. and the line-up is already looking tasty.

My theory is that, if they do

then i want to be there to see it.

I'm actually concerned that, rather than the organisers themselves, rude people and the weather might spoil things. But i'm willing to risk it all for a bit of Jeff action.

Organisers?

or organisOrs?

I'm well going

The lineup sounds cracking and that end of Victoria Park is literally 1 min from my flat.

Who needs a bar and a toilet on site? Not me!

i dont think you could leave and re-enter the site though

'else there would have been amass exodus to local offies

um, me

and anyone else with a functioning human body

I think I might go.

Even though it was badly organized

I still had a great time. We actually managed to get a decent amount of booze in and didn't worry too much about the ques. by the time we had ran out, more wine had been delivered and we were at the front of the que. I can't actually remember how bad the toilets were. The sound was bad though...anyway, yes looking forward to this year, I'm sure I'll have fun.

I was really excited, having never been...

... but this thread has put me off a little. What was the problem with the booze?

and about 10 toilets too

so it took about 45 minutes to go.
oh and the sound was really quiet.
and the sound from the different stages overlapped.

but don't worry! they say it's all been fixed.

Panic buying was part of the problem last year.

Everyone was waiting for so long, by the time they got to the bar they were buying as much booze as possible.
I admit I was guilty of this. I queued for 45 minutes then bought 8 pints. By the time I got back to my friends they'd got served at the other bar.

We all had a good day, but it was definitely too quiet. I would go again.

To be honest

it was so horrendous last year that I'm not sure I'll ever go back.

Yeah.

It's right next to my flat. Seems rude not to. If there's problems with the loos or booze I'll mouth off til they let me out to go home and come back. I only didn't last year because I went with a teetotaller.
