well, that was kind of amazing.
the only annoying thing was those two men who starting singing loudly and out of tune during the beginning of the end song. when it was totally inappropriate.
Shame there was no support though.
Yeah they were bellowing over every song
but it was so loud I could only hear them because they were next to me.
But during Cold Days In The Bird House the singer was pouring himself into an amazinly emotional performance and all I could hear was these two belters shouting.

Coz he was getting on my tits all night too. Came very close to sticking my fist through the back of his head.
It was another great performance. Was a bit pissed that there was no support though - more so, that nobody bothered to mention this. Standing around by yourself doing nowt for 2 hours is damaging to the soul.

I totally dug it.
The guy from Aerogramme gave the sound more depth but it wasn't as loud as usual.
I got annoyed with the two guys singing during 'Cold Days From The Birdhouse' too! James was the only person on stage making much noise and all I could hear was these two guys trying to sing in a Scottish accent behind me. James changes the delivery during the live version too, so they kept singing it out of time! Argh.
Putting on the accent was the worst part of it
I do it when I sing their songs to myself. I don't do it in public during a really introspective moment

Was it you who was at the Casiotone gig the other week and registered a similar annoyance during the best version of 'Bobby Malone...' one could wish for. Except then it was just some cunt shouting, this time it was some bloke singing. Some people... (them, not you!)
Personally I didn't notice this but then again I always 'lose myself' at Twilight Sad gigs so you could've kicked me square in the tits and I'd still not have blinked...
I went to watch The Twilight Sad on wednesday night.
I blacked out after the 3rd song and awoke to find myself staring at the crisp rack in a Murco garage 2 hours later.
The support band were good though.

These guys were annoying, that guy at Casiotone came within inches of my fuse blowing and getting chinned
I was stood directly behind the huge one
Not only is he a crap singer but he blocked my view of the stage entirely and stank like rotten piss. His little drunk friend was really getting on my tits.
Apart from that, it was good. Though I could have done with a sleep beforehand, the heat in there didn't go well with my tiredness. On a personal note, disappointed with no 'Mapped By What Surrounded Them' but you can't have everything!
Off to see them in Leeds tonight
with Vessels, Wintermute & I Concur, I hope there are fewer annoying people there!

The drummer was drinking beer most of the gig - not good for arm muscles as it slows you down.
He looks and as though he can handle it though.
I think we should develop some secret code for signalling annoyance at particular individuals at gigs.
