Brighton’s Blood Red Shoes release their new single on the 7th of April – you can watch the video to ‘Say Something, Say Anything’ below.

Pulled from new album Box of Secrets, which is released on the 14th of April through V2, the band’s latest offering to the chart gods refuses to come quietly, writhing and dribbling loose threads of claret down pale chin, before finally giving in to a chorus of beaten introspection.

Construct your own nonsense from what’s below, and find album details and the band currently out on tour at the venues and dates listed here.

That video..

is so so random?

Live shot, dust shot. More live shot, some more dust.

eh?

Killer song though

They shot a different video but apparantly weren't happy with it so went with the one in the news story. I prefer the other one - http://tinyurl.com/257a2l

Amazing album also.

i love the both

probably the fittest band in the world.

it's insane how amazing that song is.

Is it really so hard

to get the aspect ratio right.

I agree...

Such a random video. But yeah, it's an awesome song.

the other video

is vastly, vastly better. boo hiss.

i <3 brs however.

From Steve on the BRS forum

"um

this is strange situation

we actually decided not to use this video. it's really strange that people have seen this is we didn't intend that. i personally wasnt happy with this, didnt think it conveyed things quite right and i think our "acting" isn't good enough, especially mine. it was a really hard thing to try to make but i didnt think it hit the mark how i wanted, so we made another video that's totally different, using live footage and some weird shit we tried out at our astoria show the other week. which should be up anytime soon.

its cool that you guys like it but i'd appreciate it if you could take the link down and not share it around because it's not the video we wanted to be made public im afraid.

sxx"

ohhh.

Hissy fit!

I've watched the other one, the narrative is an interesting idea but I can see why they didn't use it.

It's still better than the other one though.
