ATP twosome: Jay Reatard and Times New Viking confirmed for Pitchfork fest

Matador Records pair Jay Reatard (picccccked) and Times New Viking (latest LP reviewed here to the tune of 9/10) have been confirmed for the Pitchfork co-curated ATP this May, 9-11.

The following landed on the ATP website today:

That's right folks, the fuzz is coming to Camber. Pitchfork have chosen two more bands for their side of the lineup- garage rock renaissance man Jay Reatard and lo-fi upstarts Times New Viking.

After this there is just one more band to be announced before the festival lineup is complete.

Wet-panted with anticipation, this is DiS signing off 'til the morrow with a oooooh goodie and a slight grrr that May's gonna leave us utterly broke - this, then Explosions, then Primavera (DiS is a media partner of the Spanish festival), plus tours from HEALTH and Jens Lekman... better tap up one of those 0% interest credit cards pronto...
