i have been deemed a misogynist. this could not be further from the truth, but stems from my strong dislike for the output of many females in music at the moment.

oh for the visceral beauty of polly jean harvey or the experimental nature of kate bush, the attitude of kathleen hanna, karen o-style fun…interesting characters. i can’t think of any new (within the last year) female artists that really interest me. Have I got memory lapse?

can some of you point me in the direction of an exciting new female prospect in music please?
