I am listening to Join Us for the first time in years and it is hella ace. Polymer is also great too.
Does anyone know what they are up to now? I know of Retisonic but have never heard them. Can anyone recommend anything?

Dischord 101 is probably my favourite though. 3x2 slow is one of the best songs of all time.

I have never really got into Dischord 101 probably because I got it last. I will give it a listen now on your recommendation.

but were really disappointing live, from what I remember.
Bluetip were ace!
Retisonic pretty much sound like a stripped down, more straightforwardly rock Bluetip but less good to me. Which I guess is too be expected with Jason Farrel fronting.
The 'Return to me' album is fairly solid and has 'Chemical Dumb Machine' on it which is worth a listen, but if I'm honest the album just makes me put on my Bluetip records.
If you're a Bluetip fan you might consider starting with Retisonic's 'Lean Beat' ep which has Dave Stern contributing on 3 tracks and also has some neat packaging.
..
They're no Circus Lupus, but they get the job done.
'Dischord 101'
is a great record.
I really like the 'Lean Beat' EP by Retisonic. I have had 'Return To Me' for a couple of years but never really got around to listening to it properly. There is just too much music in the world sometimes.
