You can tell a lot about a person from seemingly obscure questions.
I believe Westmalle to be the finest beer in the whole world, although for the first few months I worked in Belgium I drank Duval, I was only about 7 km from the brewery. I do not like Grimbergen at all though. I dedicated myself to the subject untill I could manage 8 or 9 blonde westmalles (9.2?%) washed down with say 4 ordinary hoegardens (5%) and still get up for work, the next day. Although I realise that many a chavette on fruity alco pops could match that , It was the pinacle of my beer drinking career. I feel that some of these belgian beers and scrumpy could be well employed in the making of super snakebites...I would like to open a bar on these lines, to entice the likes of Bamos I could make super cheese sandwiches with mimolette and rocquefort (Like in belgium...they make every baguette fresh.....the only problem was whan I asked for cheese amnd onion....this was an unknown combination).
