I hear they give you complimentary stripey pyjamas

but the food's supposed to be rubbish.

Krakow is meant to be absolutely wonderful

all the hipsters are flocking there as we speak. I really liked Poland personally (only been to Warsaw though) and would happily return again if only for the milk bars and endless amounts of dumplings that they serve. With fruit syrupy pivo through a straw too for 50p. Mmmmmmm.

yeah i ate too many dumplings in Praha

is it going to be overly touristy too?

Not yet it isn't

A couple of years ago they were sort of heralding it as a hidden jewel of beauty of some such other hyperbole.

after watching all 9 hours

of claude lanzmann's Shoah, i never want to go to poland, austria, germany or czech republic ever in a million million years. ever. really.

whenever i see your

username i think of reece from malcolm in the middle's face, and then hear the awful theme tune. cheers.

Life is unfair

Yes? No? Maybe?

I just went there last week

It was really good, would recommend it. Loads of nice buildings and things to look out, tons of cool bars/cafes and cheap as chips too :)

Krakow

is fucking ace. Go to a rock club called Carpe Diem II - Its the most fun. I dont know if there's a Carpe Diem I anywhere...

Diem!

cheers for the top tip

I've been twice.

It's a lovely place. Go.

yeah

i loved it there. lots to do, people are friendly, nice things at nighttime, all-round good place to be. best book shop ever is there, too.

Poland is the place to go

But Krakow and Gdansk are slowly becoming the place where everyone goes.

I recommend Bydgoszcz, Zamosc, Leszno, Poznan, Wroclaw.

i looked into going to wroclaw

it looked like a very pretty city, but we have more or less booked now, and our decision making is how you say teadious
