I doubt I'll buy it.
The problems started when Luke started believing his own hype. He thinks he's some kind of visionary social commentator and now every album's got to be a high concept full of self-conscious Withering, Incisive stabs at English culture.
And stop singing in that phlegmy menacing rasp. Yeah, we're really fucking scared!-

Ah, the man's a legend and an utterly perverse human being. I could never be in a band with the man but he's fun to watch.-

Why do his albums have to have such pretentious titles? For example "Christie Malry's Own Double Entry OST"!-
Re: Luke Haines learns to love The State Funeral of Winston Churchill
Er, it was named after the film to which it was a soundtrack. Which was in turn named after the book which it was based on.
This seems like a good opportunity to recommend B.S. Johnson, author of the said book. Luke H also deserves credit for trawling around the country to promote the film which received fantastic reviews but never got a proper release.
